Cricut Art Philosophy Chalkboard Card

Hello, friends!

Cricut Art Philosophy Chalkboard card

Today, I have the last card that I made using the Circus alphabet. It is made using the Art Philosophy cartridge. This was my first venture into the chalkboard effect. I really like how it turned out though.

To do this, you will need: Black cardstock, dryer sheet, Versamark Ink, White Embossing powder, A craft heater, stamps, White Daisy ink, and a paper towel.

1 - rub a dryer sheet on the surface of your balck cardstock. (this helps prevent strays when heat embossing)

2 - Stamp your desired image on the black cardstock using the Versa Mark ink.

3 - Sprinkle your embossing powder over the stamped image.

4 - Using your craft heater, heat embossing powder.

5 - Using a paper towel and your White daisy ink, start rubbing white ink on your image. Start with a small amount and add more as you go. Remember, it is easier to add more than to take away, so go slow.

Cricut Artiste fancy gift bag

Hello, friends!

Cricut Artiste fancy gift bag

Today, I have a gift bag that I made for a friend whose birthday was last week. It is made using the Cricut Artiste cartridge and the July stamp of the month. Another really great way to use your alphabet stamps are for personalization. I was able to incorporate her name into the decoration of the bag. Now, since her name is Joy, I could have used a Christmas stamp that said Joy, but you get the point.

Tomorrow,  I have the card that goes along this bag. It is my last example of how to use an alphabet stamp set. It has both personalization and a custom sentiment.

Cricut Artiste Bee Yourself card

Hello, friends!

Today I have a card that I made for the Bitten By the Bug challenge blog that I made using the Cricut Artiste and Everyday Pop Up Cards cartridges.

This week's challenge asked for a project with a bee. Again, I thought of a sentiment that I would like for this card, but did not have anything like it. I decided to make one myself using the Stamp of the Month.  I did not mix the fonts this time as I did with the projects from last week. I thought the other font would have been too large.
